The Israeli Foreign Minister called for continued pressure on Iran

According to the Jerusalem Post, In an interview with French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday (January 8th), Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid called for continued pressure on the Islamic regime in the Vienna nuclear talks.

According to Lapid, Macron reiterated his commitment to Israel’s security and the importance of warm relations between the two countries.

The Times of Israel reported last week that General Aharon Haliva, the commander of the Israeli army’s intelligence service, had told senior security cabinet politicians that “it would be better for Israel if the Vienna talks limited Iran’s nuclear program to lifting sanctions.”
