The Iranian Physics Association in a statement called the claim of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) on the birth of the quantum physics by Muslims is unfounded.  Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander-in-chief of the IRGC, said in an interview on the state Channel: “We are at the source of quantum science, but we cannot announce it.” he continued, “But the world reaches a small achievement and immediately declares it, ‘Today our role in the global equation is clear and the Americans will not be able to stop us. We are in the backyard of America!”

The statement, was published on the organization’s website on October 27, reads: “Unfortunately, the baselessness of this claim is such that it has aroused a wave of regret and shame among those who love the progress and development of the country.”

According to the Physics Association, in Iran, “the misunderstanding of the political and military leaders on scientific progress and their desire to overtake the great powers prematurely, not only increased Iran’s distance in scientific progress from developed countries, but also caused great losses that has been imposed on the country and its national assets day by day.”
