“The Israeli army has set up an intelligence and analytical base to monitor the activities of the Islamic regime of Iran, particularly in relation to its nuclear program,” Sputnik reported, citing the Hebrew-language Valla News website.
The secret base, which was established in recent months, brought together Israeli intelligence officers and analysts, and launched internal reforms in Israeli intelligence agencies.
According to the Israeli media, the army is using the base to identify the military presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria and to attack military installations of groups close to the Iranian regime in Syria.
