While the internet and telecommunication networks in Panjshir have been cut off and Taliban terrorists are preventing independent journalists from entering the province, a team of IRGC correspondents has joined them as the Taliban terrorists begin their offensive in Panjshir, Afghanistan. Mehdi Bakhtiari of the Tasnim news agency, a member of the IRGC, tweeted that behind him “the Taliban military column is moving towards Panjshir.” Furthermore He added that he is now in Golbahar and if he enters Panjshir, he will not have internet.

Hamed Hadian, the first journalist for whom the Taliban issued an official visa, also wrote on Twitter that the route from Herat to Kabul had been “secured since the establishment of the Taliban.” In response to Hadian, the Panjshir Resistance Account said that the Taliban themselves were the cause of the insecurity and threat on this route.
Many social media users have described the behavior of Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) expedition reporters as part of a “purge of the Taliban” scenario and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s rule with the terrorist group.
