Israel’s television channel reported that the Israeli army intends to hold one of its largest air force maneuvers in the spring of 2022, simulating an attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

A senior US official told Reuters that the US and Israeli defense ministers would meet in Washington on Thursday to discuss a military maneuver to simulate an attack on and destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The Times of Israel reported that the exercise would take place over the Mediterranean Sea, 1,000 kilometers from Israel, and would involve dozens of fighters and bombers. F-15, F-16, F-35 fighter jets, Gulf Stream G550 spy planes and refueling tankers will be present at the exercise.

In the last two weeks of October, Israel hosted an international air force maneuver involving several countries, including the United States, Britain, Italy, India, Greece, and Germany, and was named the “Blue Flag 2021.” The maneuver was held in 2019, with the participation of only four countries, and at the same time, was described as the most powerful maneuver in the history of Israel.
