Despite tensions in the Caucasus and the stance of countries in the region, Russia remains silent. Therefore, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, known as the diplomat of the resistance, went to Moscow today to talk with Sergey Lavrov about the developments in the Caucasus, Afghanistan, Syria and the Vienna talks.

Immediately after arriving in Moscow, Amir Abdullahian said in an interview with the Islamic Regime in Iran’s broadcasting: “In tomorrow’s talks, we will talk in details about the Caucasus.… We expect Russian officials to be sensitive to any changes in the region’s borders ….. to be sensitive to the presence of terrorists and the Zionist regime in the region, which is against peace, stability and security in the region. Apart from this trip, we expressed our common concerns in this regard through diplomatic channels as well as through phone conversations between Mr. Lavrov and I. I am confident that we can reach a good agreement in tomorrow’s meeting. God willing, we will be able to move in a direction that stabilizes the situation in the region”.
