Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley opposed the removal of Revolutionary Guard Corps – Quds Force from the US terror list. The removal of the Revolutionary Guards from the US terrorism list has been one of the Islamic regime of Iran’s conditions for returning to the nuclear deal.

Gen. Milley, opposed the removal of the Revolutionary Guards Corps – Quds Force from the US list of terrorist organizations during a Senate hearing on Thursday (April 7th).

Gen. Milley told members of the Senate Armed Services Committee that the IRGC’s Quds Force is a terrorist organization and does not support its removal from the terror list. But he did not explicitly oppose the removal of the Revolutionary Guards from the US terrorist list altogether.

U.S. officials have previously implied that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) have been removed from the US terrorist list. But in recent days, with the rise of the Revolutionary Guards in the region, opposition to such a move has also increased within the United States.
