Israel: Hitting the head of Iran octopus

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, in an interview with the Jerusalem Post, directly targeted the Iranian regime and its nuclear and terrorist activities, and rejected the Vienna talks, saying that regardless of whether or not the talks succeed in reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) , Israel It will continue its strategy to combat the aggression of the Iranian regime.

Mr. Bennett said “Even if a new deal is signed, Israel won’t be obligated to it. We aren’t part of it, and Israel will retain full freedom of action in any situation. I’m implementing that daily and not only in words, but also in actions.”

“We and the Americans do not agree on everything,” Bennett said. The Iranian regime plays poker empty-handed and bluffs. “The last thing you want to do is pouring tens of billions of dollars into this apparatus (Iran) because what will you get? Terror on steroids,” he said.

He further compared the Iranian regime to an octopus, with its head in Tehran, wrapping Israel with its arms, including Hezbollah in the north, the Islamic Jihad and to some extent Hamas in Gaza, the Shiite militias on the border with Syria, and others in Iraq, Yemen and Libya.

“We have a cold war by one side only – they hit us, and we don’t hit them back. We’re changing that equation. We’re working every angle to weaken Iran,” Bennett stressed. “We have to be ready for everything,” he said.

Bennett announced that his cabinet has allocated an important budget to strength the Israeli army, and get the best weapons for the soldiers.
