Russian Ambassador Levan Dzhagaryan: I am very concerned about the Iranian public opinion against Russia

“Western countries made empty promises to Ukraine that they can be a member of NATO and a member of the European Union,” Dzhagaryan, Russia’s ambassador to Tehran, told Foori News. “These were really and completely baseless promises. By political criteria, Ukraine can not be a member of the European Union. Because Russia is an independent country and not an underdog. “It is not a mercenary like European countries,” Dzhagaryan said.

Russian Ambassador Levan Dzhagaryan admitted that he is “very worried” about public opinion in Iran turning against Russia. “With the works that we do with your help, and the help of other independent media that aren’t under Western influence and don’t listen to the BBC, we try to explain [our views to them],” he said.
