Ali Motahari, a former member of the Islamic regime of Iran’s parliament, said that “Iran should put aside its fear of Russia in the last stage of the revival of the Nuclear talks and resolve the remaining problems through direct negotiations with the United States.”

“Russia is deeply concerned about the resumption of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the improvement of Iran’s economic relations with the West, and wants Iran to remain its hostage to use as a shield against the West,” he wrote on Twitter, urging officials of the Islamic regime of Iran to prioritize national interests over Russia’s.

“Unfortunately, we have some Russophile in the governing body who have forgotten neither Eastern nor Western politics,” Motahari told the Saaed News website three days ago.
