The seizure of the ship and the ban on the import of home appliances did not work. Now the foreign minister of the ruling Islamic regime in Iran is threatening the Koreans that if they do not release the Iranian money, the Islamic Republic Broadcasting will cut the Korean film series.
Hussein Amir Abdullahian explained: “During his talks with South Korean officials last week, he said: I told the South Korean Foreign Minister that our children who watch Korean film series at home ask us: Are the kind Koreans in these series the same people who do not give our money? For example, I told their foreign minister that our broadcasting station might even say that we would no longer broadcast Korean series because Korea is not fulfilling its obligations.”
