“The actual daily death rate of Coronavirus in the country is over 1,500,” said Massoud Pezeshkian, a member of the Islamic regime’s parliamentary health commission. Criticizing the Ministry of Health’s approach to announcing the number of coronavirus victims in Iran, he said: “It doesn’t matter that people are dying.”
The number of COVID-19 victims in Iran, according to the report of the Ministry of Health, is about 115,000, but other sources, including the directors of the Medical System Organization, have repeatedly stated that the number of victims in Iran is three to four times higher than what the Ministry of Health reported.
Physicians also criticized the current situation in the country, saying: “For the economy, the agricultural industry and many other areas, not only do we not bring anyone from abroad, but we do not even choose the best from within; As a result, we won’t be able to build the country by talking only. We say we should practice jihad, but when we do not have knowledge, it does not make sense to practice jihad. Our current situation is worse than the war, and during the war, all classes and groups were present in the Basij; Therefore, we need the same mobilization of all people to solve the country’s problems, but many of our youth and experts are unfortunately leaving the country. The government says we will bring in foreign investors, but I tell them to first please keep the domestic investors who already invested in the country and worked hard, then think about bringing in foreign investors.”
