The men, who identified themselves as Iranians, were airlifted to Oman.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the incident took place yesterday, December 15, and a US Navy spokesman said the men were seen pouring liquids on the cargo and the front deck of the ship before the ship exploded and caught fire.<\/p>\n<p>Two tonnes of drugs worth nearly $15 million were reportedly seized from the ship, 1745kg of cannabis, 500kg of methamphetamine and 30kg of heroin were among the substances discovered.<\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press reported that officials from the Islamic regime of Iran had not yet responded to Wednesday&#8217;s incident, saying that an Iranian occupant had disappeared from the boat.
