The newspaper quoted Kourosh Holakouee Naeini, a professor of epidemiology at the University of Tehran, as saying: “According to Iraj Haririchi, the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Health, the death toll should be doubled and tripled, but I say you can increase the death toll to seven times higher.” “In September of last year, we estimated 350,000 deaths.”<\/p>\n

Zali, the Commander of The Covid-19 Task Force in Tehran, was also quoted by Javan Newspaper as saying, “We have given false statistics to the World Health Organization.”<\/p>\n
