Tehran has drawn up detailed plans to target submarine communications cables in the Persian Gulf that could be implemented if the US and Israel attack Iran again, two senior officials of the mullahs’ regime told Reuters.<\/p>\n
The two officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not provide details on where or how the attacks might be carried out, but one said Iran may also act to prevent damaged cables from being repaired, prolonging the disruption to communications, including the Internet.<\/p>\n
