Dr. Roozbeh Vadi, a PhD graduate in nuclear engineering (reactor specialization) from Amirkabir University of Technology and a member of Iran\u2019s Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute, was executed on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was charged for Espionage and intelligence collaboration with Israel\u2019s Mossad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iran\u2019s judiciary claimed Vadi knowingly and deliberately collaborated with Mossad, sharing sensitive information related to Iran\u2019s nuclear program A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vadi had co-authored a nuclear research paper in 2011 with two prominent Iranian scientists (Abdollhamid Minoochehr & Hamid Zolfaghari) who were later killed during a military conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He allegedly transferred classified information to Mossad and was instructed to travel to Vienna under the guise of attending a technical training course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his Vienna trip, he reportedly met Mossad officers multiple times, underwent security protocols, and used encrypted devices for communication B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The judiciary emphasized that Vadi worked in a \u201ccritical and sensitive\u201d national organization, making him a high-value target for foreign intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
