Just as Commander Jalali was speaking at a news conference about the 2020 Passive Defense Week with the slogan “Passive Defense, Sustainable Iran,” citizen reporters released videos from all over Iran announcing a cyber-attack on the smart fuel system.

Hours later, social media was filled with reports of city billboards being hacked with slogans: “Khamenei, where is our gasoline?” And “Free Gasoline at Jamaran (Jamaran is the North Tehran region – home of Khomeini) Gas Station.”
