The Islamic regime of Iran is expanding its territory in Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that the Islamic regime of Iran has taken advantage of the opportunity of the Russian troops transfer to fight in Ukraine, increasing its “influence” in central Syria, especially in the southern part of Hama province.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights wrote in a report on Saturday (April 17th): Iranian-backed militias have expanded their influence in Hama countryside by transforming “47th Brigade” in Jabal Maareen in the southern Hama countryside into a military base of Al-Quds corps, the main base of Iranian-militias command in Hama province.

According to the report, the Hama military base and airport are responsible for managing and coordinating forces affiliated with the Islamic regime of Iran in Hama province.

Based on informed Syrian sources, the 47th Brigade is a tank brigade affiliated with the 11th Division of the Syrian Army, but it is under absolute Iranian control.
