Ahmed Bakhshaish Ardestani, a member of the National Security Commission of the Regime Parliament, said in an interview with Chandshanieh: “The West is pushing Iran to change its nuclear doctrine and build an atomic bomb with its behavior.”
Referring to the statements of President Trump, Pompeo and Israeli officials, he said: America’s approach to North Korea is different because it has nuclear weapons.
Bakshaish emphasized: If the nuclear doctrine is to be changed, first a bomb must be made and then Iran withdraws from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Because leaving without building a bomb would destroy the benefits of agency oversight.
He raised the possibility of Russia and China’s opposition and said: The fatwa banning nuclear weapons may also change according to the defense conditions and the requirements of the time.
Bakshaish also said: Iran has the full ability to build an atomic bomb despite the US attacks on nuclear facilities.
