Iran’s cinema will move forward according to China and Russia’s cinema.
The Culture and Morality Guidance Minister of the Islamic regime claimed that, from a “silly and filthy cinema in Pahlavi era”, our cinema has become a “divine, morality oriented, and family-oriented cinema in Islamic republic”
Mahdi Esmaili continued: “Some of our actors and actresses are getting paid by politically biased media to pretend to live in an unsafe country. But we are improving Iran’s cinema and it’s fundamentals by China and Russia’s help.
Fajr Cinema Festival was boycotted by many cinematographers (actors, actresses and producers) and audience.
